For this collaborative project I worked with a group of 5 musical creatives to create a documentary exploring how music has affected their lives, and how they would personally define it. The aim of this documentary was to explore a shared love of music from an unlikely group of people, and so it was important to me that my collaborates ranged in musical taste, ability and age, to bring an array of stories.

 

This documentary follows a singer, a bass player, a DJ, a guitarist, and an avid music lover, and explores questions such as ‘how does music make you feel?’ and ‘can you tell me about your favourite gig?’.

 

Through conducting a series of interviews, and reaching out via email for participants, this project put me in contact with some amazing musicians and allowed me to listen to a broad new range of original material.
